Randy is an experienced finance professional with a diverse and accomplished career. He began his professional career in Winnipeg with Arthur Andersen & Co., where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation and was a member of the firm’s audit, assurance, and business advisory services practice. After obtaining his designation Randy transitioned into industry roles, eventually taking on CFO roles with both private and publicly listed companies.
Following this, Randy spent 10 years as an instructor at Red Deer Polytechnic, teaching various accounting courses in both the Diploma and Degree programs. In 2021, he joined CPA Alberta as Director of Member Engagement and Advisory Services, where he promoted volunteerism and the profession, as well as provided advisory services to members and the public.
Since late 2024, Randy has been offering advisory services part-time, enabling him to return to his passions for teaching and supporting local businesses.
