Ken is both a Chartered Professional Accountant (British Columbia) and a Certified Public Accountant (Texas). He holds an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School, and an MA in Applied and Professional Ethics (with Distinction) from the University of Leeds, where his dissertation focused on Enron and corporate responsibility. He also studied law at the University of London.
Ken’s career in the energy sector has encompassed technical accounting, corporate finance, and assurance for corporations in both the United States and Canada. He has taught technical accounting and finance courses to corporate employees in several countries, spoken at conferences, and served as a guest lecturer on business ethics at Texas A&M University.
Born and raised in Calgary, Ken now resides in Langford, British Columbia.
