Wayne Weber CIRP LIT is a seasoned Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT) and a respected member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP). Since entering the insolvency field in 2002, Wayne has dedicated his career to assisting individuals in financial distress, guiding them through their options with empathy and transparency.
Wayne obtained his CA designation in Ontario in 1984 and worked with small to medium sized business in the traditional fields of accounting, audit, tax and general consulting. His passion for financial restructuring led him to the insolvency sector in 2004, initially joining a regional practice in Saint John, NB, and obtained his license as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee in 2013.
In 2020, Wayne ventured into a new role as the Chief Financial Officer for a start-up public medical device manufacturer based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. That same year, he founded JW Weber & Associates Inc., focusing on consumer insolvencies. Under his leadership, the firm has expanded rapidly, now boasting four offices across Calgary, Edmonton, and Lethbridge.
