Josephine Naicker is a Global Citizen whose travels and work have shaped her belief in Ubuntu, “I am because we are,” emphasizing collective humanity and shared responsibility.

Guided by compassion and community, she promotes lifelong learning, innovation, and philanthropy. Josephine is an instructor of Data Analytics, Blockchain, and AI at the University of Lethbridge, and a co-founder of an Indigenous-led AI, Cloud, and Cybersecurity company focused on ensuring Indigenous peoples benefit from technological advancements. She co-developed the Certificate in Cloud Auditing Knowledge (CCAK), the first global cloud auditing credential, earning recognition with the Alberta Newcomer Award.

Josephine also chairs the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS), supporting immigrant and refugee integration, and contributes to the Calgary Audit Committee.
