In this workshop you will gain a deep understanding of financial concepts, learn modeling techniques, and apply them to real-world scenarios. By the end of the course, you will understand the fundamental aspects necessary to constructing accurate and dynamic financial models to analyze investments, assess profitability, and make informed financial decisions.
Throughout this interactive workshop you will be guided through the construction of effective financial models. Based on the financial model, you will learn how analyze financial performance, assess profitability, and evaluate the financial health of your department or business. You will gain insights into revenue forecasting, cost structures, and cash flow management, enabling you to make informed decisions about resource allocation and financial planning.
The aim of the workshop is to ensure that you leave with the confidence and expertise to apply financial modeling techniques to either your employer’s organization, or your own business ventures.

Chris Wyman
Chris Wyman is the President of Pathfinder Business Consulting. Prior to starting his own company, Chris had over 25 years of experience within the finance industry and was most recently the Vice President of Learning and Development for a Canadian-based training firm. Throughout his career in finance, Chris has experienced a variety of roles, from Internal Audit Director to Commercial Banking Account Manager. He draws on his extensive range of experience when delivering seminars related to management principles, financial statement analysis, process management and corporate GRC (governance, risk management and compliance).
Chris holds his CPA designation, the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation, and the IIA’s Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).
